5C screen replacement went without a hitch

My Fix

Very smoothly. However, I benefited from having recently replaced the battery on my other phone (which was a more difficult endeavor)

BTW--The quality of the tools is top notch and makes a huge difference in the installation. I replaced a battery on a MacBook Pro from another site and they included crappy tools--and were even missing one! Fortunately, I had my iFixit tool kit to the rescue.

My Advice

While the step-by-step instructions are superb, they're targeted more at someone who is looking to just replace the glass and thus contain extra steps such as removing the speaker. I thought when I bought the digitizer that it would have all the elements. Turns out I did have to reuse the home button from the old screen. Not a big deal but it should be called out somehow.
