Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Motherboard Replacement

My Problem

It was defective.

My Fix

Not too bad except for the small ribbon connector in the center of the board. Nothing is mentioned in the instruction video of removing this connector but just pulling up on the board removes it. The problem is re-attaching the squirmy little thing. I was reluctant to pinch it too much but it did not want to go back in. I needed another tool to reinsert it, but what?

My Advice

The tool was the rubber eraser on the end of a pencil which gripped it enough to push it back in with no damage.
