Tiny Battery Replacement

Tinker Taylor -

My Problem

Got myself an iPod Shuffle a few years ago. After many a jam session, it finally ran out of battery. Decided to take the thing apart to see if I could replace the battery myself. Man, that thing is tiny.

My Fix

A little more involved than I thought it would be—but went well! Used the micro spudger to pry up the case. And got to meet the inside of my Nano for the very first time. Pretty cool experience. Had to solder the replacement battery in there, which was a little difficult in such a small space. But definitely do-able! I look forward to more jam sessions on my shuffle.

My Advice

Can you guys make a tiny soldering iron to go with the Micro Tech?
