My Problem
Some portion of the hard drive cable was defective. The drive was working but would not appear to the system.
My Fix
Generally pretty easy. Was concerned when I had to bend the new cables to do 90 degree bends around components.
My Advice
Don't pull the hard drive up quickly or you might rip the cable. It's okay to bend the cables 90 degrees. Don't forget to peel the protective paper off of the sticky glue.
