I broke the screen after dropping the ipad.
I purchased a new screen and repair kit from iFixit. It was delivered on time, however at the end of the install, I determined that I must have cut through the flex wire that controls the on/off button. I contacted iFixit for some advice and Mike was so very nice and worked with me to ensure I had the correct parts to complete the fix. I also had to get a second new screen as I accidentally broke the new one while installing it (my fault). Again, iFixit did everything they could to help me. I will only work with iFixit in the future as the products are high quality and the customer service exceeded all expectations. Thank you to the iFixit team and specifically Mike.
Be sure to follow the videos and the documentation. It working with both, you wont have any problems.
