My Problem
Broken iPad 3 Screen. I purchased a cheap replacement screen in attempt to save money but ended up purchasing the iFixit screen, as the cheap replacement was junk. The other screen had "gridlines" across and was not reactive in several areas of the screen. The iFixit screen was clear and came with adhesive pre-attached which made the install much easier.
My Fix
The hardest part was getting started removing the screen, but once you got the first part lifted it went very well.
My Advice
Don't try to go cheap, as you get what you pay for. The $40 screen ended up costing almost $60 due to the cheap option that didn't work. Also, spend the extra and get the tool kit as the tools that came with this are far superior to others I've used.
