My Problem
Originally had a flaky screen. Had replaced screen twice before with another supplier's parts (with poor results) before I decided to try iFixit's kit. Other suppliers display assemblies would have lines on display after replacing, or would wear out quickly, especially after opening phone and unplugging harnesses multiple times.
My Fix
Replaced screen initially and screen worked, however got a NAND flash error when phone powered on. Googling around turns out this was due to bad front camera cable on the new ifixit display. Swapped front camera in from another display assembly I had laying around and all was well.
My Advice
Displays you find on the web (eBay, etc) are of varying quality. Ifixit's appears to be a step above the rest. Wish I wouldn't have had the front camera issue, however - if I wouldn't have had these apart multiple times and knew to swap the camera I might have initiated a return.
