My Problem
GTX 645 Overheating
My Fix
I had a GTX 645 (its the custom one Dell makes) from my friend's old rig. It was overheating at idle. I needed the correct bit to open the graphics card, The kit had it and the spudger was especially useful. Before at idle it was 90C easily. I opened up the card replaced the thermal compound and pulled the dust from the cooler—under load it reached 78C. This kit pays for itself easy if you do this for a living
My Advice
Don't be afraid to open up a graphics card. You may get some more life out of it if you do.
