My Problem
I'm in Utah around Salt Lake and iFixit's standard shipping makes it here in 2 days which is Awesome! iPad quit working and would not charge the battery after new update. Apple tested it and said the logic board failed. I found iFixit and purchased a tool kit and the logic board and put it in without any problems. Waited for the battery to charge and voila it works again! Thanks iFixit.
My Fix
For me the repair was pretty easy, however I've been a technician for 21 years. This was the first Apple product I have attempted to fix though.
My Advice
Take it slow and follow iFixit's directions and you'll have no problems.
