My Problem
Screen had been completely shattered by a friend of the family.
My Fix
I ordered this screen kit, replacement was very simple and easy, labeling screws and making sure you put them back in the same spot is literally the biggest concern. if you can put batteries in a remote, you can do this.
My Advice
When you go to take off the home button ribbon glued to the screen (one of the last steps) I found it easier and safer to wedge tweezers under, and cut away the glue slowly, rather than prying under with the spudger, just my experience.

I totally agree with u , the Spudger is not a good idea :-) I usually just buy the whole unit much safer .
