Apple Store Makes battery replacement difficult

My Problem

I received an OS X warning that I needed to replace my MacBook Pro's battery. I was willing to pay Apple to replace, but the Apple Store would not promise to have battery on site for a quick replacement for a scheduled Genius Bar appointment. I depend on my computer so I needed a fast turn around. In addition, Apple does not consider this battery user replaceable.

My Fix

The repair was quick and simple. I now have a laptop I can use while on the go without worrying about my battery life.

My Advice

I wish I would have not wasted my time trying to arrange the replacement with the Apple Store and just ordered the battery from iFixIt in the first place.
