My Problem

My kids dropped my wife's MacBook Pro a few months ago... the display was broken. I brought it to the Apple store and a week - and $800 - later it was fixed. Well, guess what? My amazing kids dropped it again and broke the display a few weeks later. I decided to fix it myself so I reached out to my friend Eric Doster, from iFixit/Dozuki, and he helped me find the correct parts I needed, etc.

My Fix

Man, it went smoothly! I had read the guide - and all the comments - a few times. I also had the correct tools which made a huge difference. I was nervous during a few steps based on some of the comments but, I just took it slowly, and it went perfectly! It took around 30 minutes.

My Advice

Believe in yourself! Get the right tools. Follow the guides along with the advice in the comments for each step and you'll be good to go!
