Easy but expensive battery replacement

My Problem

My MBP early 2011 did not hold its charge. There was an error message saying "check battery"

My Fix

The repair was as easy as 1-2-3. I was disapointed, however, to see my final bill. The $99 battery was shipped for $34. The exchange rate to canadian dollars made the USD$134 become CDN$177. I was then greeted by fedex with an additional $43 in taxes & customs. The total cost of replacing the battery was $220CDN (166USD) which I consider a little pricey.

Advice for users: the repair is easy and the repair guides are very simple and well made

Advice for ifixit: Many american companies offer free shipping to canada and include customs/import fees, I wish ifixit becomes one of those.
