Macbook Hard drive cable replacement

My Problem

Macbook crashed, did an online search, found ifixit youtube video of how to replace hard drive and cable. Removed hard drive and tested using a sata to usb cable. Hard drive functioned, process of elimination left the cable as the failure.

My Fix

Ordered part online, The replacement arrived in 3 business days to Northern Alberta (wow). Did the install as to the directions provided by online video and all is great now. Also replaced the hard drive with a SSD. Much faster.
