My Problem
I suspected my battery was going. I went to AT&T. They don't fix. They only sell new. They referred me to Apple. I called Apple. After working my way through the automated telephone system and giving them the serial number of my iPhone, the system told me I needed to Pay $29.95 for a one time conversation with a technician. I uttered a bad word into the phone, found ifixit on the internet and ordered a battery and repair kit for $24.95 (including postage) . My grandson who was home from college did the repair using your tutorial. It went without a hitch. My daughter who told me no one replaces iPhone batteries was amazed. I was delighted. My grandson was thrilled to see inside an iPhone. Thank you ifixit.

My Advice
Don't listen to people who tell you iPhone batteries can't be replaced.
