My Problem
After many years of service the battery finally died.
My Fix
Followed the instructions on iFixit and the job went just as the instructions said it would. The tools I purchased from iFixit also worked perfectly. I will definitely use iFixIt again.
My Advice
I should have read through the instructions fully before starting, as when I got got the spacing tool in the crack I first tried to slide down the large back panel instead of sliding the smaller top piece up. It was entirely my error though, as the instructions were clear when I looked again.
