iPhone 4 was running down.

My Problem

I figured it needed a replacement battery since it was a few years old.

My Fix

The repair went ok but it seems to run down quickly still and the home button is often unresponsive. I have to get it to come on with the power button. The power button makes a definite click now . Also the phone and charger cord get hot now. Wonder if I did something?

My Advice

Not sure if it was the battery now.
