It was like giving birth and seeing a newborn.

My Problem

I've used my laptop for over four years, using it for things like work, school, and entertainment. Being busy and needing this technology, I saw that she was dying more quickly than I imagined. She was stuck at 63% battery health with over 1,100 cycles due to restless nights and emotional breakdowns. She's been there with me from day one. I couldn't bear (afford) to lose her at a time like this.

My Fix

Easy. Peasy. A newborn once again (it changed from 4.3 years to 2.2 years of age, which I don't think matters). My boyfriend had little tools and did it himself in just under 10 minutes. He was my hero. He held my hand while she raised up from the grave.

My Advice

Turn off your laptop whenever possible. These babies don't last forever, and neither do we.
