My Problem

I was removing a hard drive from a MacBook Pro before recycling the computer (dead main board) for security reasons.

My Fix

I was stalled for the lack of a T6 Torx screwdriver which you supplied in a jiffy (thank you) and when I finally got the shell open, what did I find? No hard drive. Then the boss remembers that when she was having that laptop diagnosed she had the HD taken out and put into an external enclosure to retrieve the data on it.

My Advice

I found the IFixIt video instructions clear and concise, the service wonderful but the fool's errand exasperating!
