My Problem
Added 256GB SSD and replaced 500GB main drive with 750GB drive.
My Fix
Repair went off without a hitch. Most difficult step was removing the power supply.
My Advice
Hardest part was getting the new partitions up and running. Recall you need to resize partitions in disk utility to be smaller than the destination before you can image. Watch out for duplicate drive names. This caused a brief problem because all 3 drives had identical names. When booting of the external drive everything worked perfectly but when booting from the SSD it failed to find the user directory (it was a subtle issue involving mount order) but changing the internal rives to have different names (a pretty good idea anyway) fixed the problem.
