My Problem
My phone was completely dependent on the charger, if I took it off for more than 5min it would die at 98%
My Fix
It was very simple. Prior to receiving my new battery I watched a youtube video of someone replacing their battery with the ifixit tools - when I received my order, the step by step picture guide was very helpful.
