My Problem
The back of the iphone 4 started to pop off. I didn't know why and couldn't get the back all the way off. After watching a video from ifixit I was able to get the back off and found the battery had blown up like a balloon.
My Fix
The repair went well and was actually easy with the right tools. The longest part was trying to find the tiny screw I dropped on the floor. I finally did find it and finished the job pretty quickly.
My Advice
Even when things appear intimidating it usually is just a matter of knowing the tricks of the trade and having the right tools of which ifixit is a great resource. Also a magnetic tray to hold the tiny screws is very useful.
