iPhone Battery finally gave out after 3 years
My Fix
Easily removed cover with the included "Star" driver, removed the battery with the included Pry Tool, unscrewed the ground connector with the included Phillips head driver, replaced the battery, and reinstalled the cover. Plugged it into the charger and four hours Viola! Phone back at 100% and lasted 6 days until needed recharging.
My Advice
You can NOT go wrong ordering a battery and kit from ifixit.com. There was even a link to a video showing step-by-step instructions in "People" language if needed. Great company and I will share with everyone I know. And the price was WAY better than Apple OEM.
