Not only a replacement, I made a whole revamping to my MacBook

My Problem

As many here I wasn't able to boot my MacBook. A flashing folder appeared and disk utility never detected my HDD so I was worried that my drive was completely dead.

My Fix

I not only replaced the hard drive cable, I replaced the HDD with a SDD and removed the optical drive and placed another SDD with a bracket for the optical drive. The result is a high performance MacBook with two SSD in RAID 0.

My Advice

You must have a good technical advice, first I thought the problem was in the HDD but I was wrong, It was the cable.
