My Problem

Even though I've repaired a number of older Mac laptops I hadn't opened up an Air and was planning to get a professional to replace the obviously dead battery. The pros wanted me to drop it in for a day so they could check the problem, then if it was battery they would order the part... the whole process was going to take two visits and two weeks!

I hung up the phone and ordered from Ifixit. New battery arrived within days (which considering I'm in Australia is awesome)

My Fix

I didn't time the repair but it was certainly in line with other claims. I reckon if you did a few of these you could probably do it in three minutes. I'm guessing it took me about 10.

My Advice
