Replace battery...oh, now the screen, too??

My Problem

My daughter's iPhone 5c needed a new battery. I had ordered the iFixit replacement, but when I was ready to do the replacement, my daughter had dropped her phone that morning, cracking the screen. I ordered the new screen, and, given my recent experience with an iPhone 5 battery, ordered the iSclack as well.

My Fix

Repair went fine. It is recommended to remove the screen when changing the battery, so I just put on the new screen during reassembly. The iFixit video and step-by-step instructions were clear. The screen replacement is quite straightforward.

My Advice

The iSclack is not necessary, but makes the job much easier.
