Dropped the phone in a parking lot and it was run over by cars several times.

My Problem

Shattered front display. Fixed it to maintain the value of the phone.

My Fix

The repair went very well and was successful. The biggest issue experienced was removing small shards of shattered glass from the sticky sealing areas. I used a pair of tweezers for removal.

My Advice

The repair kit and installation should be considered before abandoning a repairable phone because the old phone may be tied to an attractive preexisting rate plan. A replacement phone may require a new less attractive long-term contract, higher rate plan, cost of a new phone and other additional charges.
