Replaced hard drive and glass panel

My Problem

Hard drive was over six years old and the glass panel replacement was not due to cracks, but my carelessness during the tear down should have laid the glass on flat surface instead put it I. A chair and it slipped down

My Fix

The repair was no problem at all I still have another iMac that will need to have the hard drive replaced, and I will not make the same mistake with the glass this time.

My Advice

Make sure that you pale the glass on a flat safe surface
