My Problem
My track pad was not working on my Macbook Pro 2010 mid year version. I took it to a repair shop. The problem was the battery was damaged and was pushing up on the pad. I had them put in a refurbished battery. After using it awhile I was not satisfied with the battery. I decided to work with IFIXIT and replace the battery myself. I usually take all my repairs to my rerpair shop. However, after watching the videos, reading the step-by-step guides and reading coustomer's comments I decided to give the repair myself.
My Fix
I was a little leary when the website said the repair was "easy". For some reason, things are not always easy for me. However, to my surprise, it was easy! The video, the guide and the comments were all helpful. Thank you teammates.

Use the website for the tools, videos, guides and comments.
