My Problem
The battery in my MacBook Air wouldn't hold a charge for more than an hour. I decided to replace the battery instead of buying a new laptop.
My Fix
Easy peasy! It took me longer to find the correct size pentalobe screwdriver bit than it did to remove the screws to the back of the MBA. There were some torx screws holding the battery in place and didn't take long to remove. The entire procedure took less than 10 minutes.
My Advice
Don't be afraid to tackle this one. Get yourself an iFixIt Pro Tech Toolkit and do this repair yourself!
