My adult son got the new SSD installed before I got home from work!

My Problem

Our Mac Mini came with a hard drive and was fast enough with one person using it, but not with 4 users, or even 2. We bought an SSD to give it a new, much faster life. Now, how to get that goodness in there!

My Fix

We bought the kit and my son followed the steps. I was surprised to see that he was already installing Yosemite when I got home and he had left for an appointment.

Before the SSD logging into my account with the apps I had running, especially the browser, took about 30 minutes. Now I'm ready to go to work in a minute or 2. :)

My Advice

1. The kit is definitely worth getting.
