Easy

My Problem

Ran out of space on the dual 500Gb drives that shipped stock in this Mac Mini.

My Fix

Relatively painless. The Mac Mini seems to disassemble easily, as long as you have a good set of Torx drivers.

My Advice

Get a full set of Torx drivers. Do NOT just go by the photos in the Mac Mini breakdown on iFixit.com. They miss a screw on the motherboard, and it won't come out without removing that screw (which they do NOT mention in the breakdown, but it IS mentioned by a helpful commenter in the photo comments). Other than that, you must carefully remove and reuse the plastic tape and insulation between drives. But, it worked, and I only ended up with two screws left over!
