New life for the old MacBook Pro

My Problem

After 4 years the battery was swollen on my MacBook Pro 13inch. Bottom line, the computer was just fine. It still met our needs as a family and most of the time we had it docked with the thunderbolt display so the screen resolution was no issue. So happy we didn't have to purchase a new computer and can wait for a few more years to get a future generation.

My Fix

Total repair time was 15 minutes. The Tri-wing screwdriver was perfect!

My Advice

Always buy the accessories that iFixit recommends. It really does save you time vs. going around to stores looking for specialised tools!
