Excellent and Fussfree Repair of an XBOX 360

My Problem

XBOX 360 presented with the Red Ring of Death three years ago. I did not know what to do with it until I found your website recently.

My Fix

Following your guide and using the repair kit was simple. It was easier than using other guides for other sites.

After completing the guide the XBOX still had the RROD until I ran the XBOX for a few minutes and restarted it. I assume the thermal paste was still being bedded in somehow.

The XBOX 360 did not need solder reflowing to fix it.

My Advice

I definitely suggest that a small amount of the thermal paste remover should be included with the pack, if not then buy the remover. I purchased the remove just in case, however I do not think I could have completed the project without it.

It might also be useful to offer the package without tools, as I already had most of these (apart from the opener and spudger).
