My Problem
Dead battery - iPod wouldn't even power on.
My Fix
Easier than I thought. The whole disassembly and reassembly took 10 minutes. As I went along the side of the case with the plastic openers, the iPod just popped open. No damage to the case, no scratches, or anything.
My Advice
The tools are definitely worth the price, I recommend extra plastic openers just in case. i did end up chewing up one right away and almost did the same to the second.
