Broken display and home button
My Fix
The first went well, I followed all the easy to read instructions, but broke off the display ribbon. Re-ordered a second display, got it in , no problems until I saw the home button was broken. Ordered that part, re-did the tear down and put in the button, all works, except for a charging problem - why not!
My Advice
Never undertake any painstaking task while under stress, alcohol, drugs, bad attitude, anger or divorce - this task is not for you. But since I was not under any of those, it went as it should have. Word of caution - where they say be careful...be careful!!
