My Problem
My kid dropped and cracked the glass on our iPad.
My Fix
Taking off the old screen was the most tedious part. Placing tape on the screen prior to removing the old screen was a very useful tip. Instead of the heating pad, I used a hair dryer so I wouldn't have to keep getting up to warm up the the thing in the microwave. The video on this site and others on YouTube made the process very simple. Once the old screen was off, and I cleaned off the old adhesive, I dry fitted the new screen and made sure everything fit and worked correctly. then I took the screen protector off of the back and removed the strips off of the adhesive tape and easily got the new screen on.
