My Problem
The Wii U stopped reading discs which frustrated my son.
He got a new Super Mario Galaxy game that he really wanted to play.
My Fix
The repair went smoothly. I walked through the guide and it only took about thirty minutes total. I removed the drive, cracked open the cover and found a penny. Removed the penny, reassembled the Wii U, and everything worked great!
My Advice
Don't let your kids put pennies in the Wii U disc drive. If they do, order the tool kit from iFixit and follow the guide so you can repair it yourself. You'll save the cost of a new Wii U and impress your kids!
