My Problem
Noticing slowness, wanted to checkout how fast ssd's were.
My Fix
Overall it went ok , with some bumps I the road. After watching the video and studying the how to's, still made some mistakes. The ssd wasn't being detected the first couple of boot ups, had to remove everything /reconnect everything 3 times! Before it was finally detected, not fun.
My Advice
I found it easier to leave iMac standing instead of laying on it's back. And if you still have the box it came in , use it!, much easier than trying to find 2 flat surfaces for glass / LCD.
