My Fix
Resurrected my Xbox 360. Now works great! Lots of steps but ifixit provides everything you need and walks you through it. Described as Difficult on the website, but I disagree. If you can follow directions this is any easy fix!
My Advice
The torx wrench also fits your controller screws
