Worked flawlessly for someone who has never done something like this before

My Problem

I had bought my ipod mini at a goodwill almost a year ago and had been using it fairly consistently since then. However, it's an incredibly old device and the battery ended up dying on me. I could maybe go 30 minutes to an hour without having to charge it which made it semi-unusable. It wasn't fun to deal with at all.

My Fix

I followed the guide step by step and took my time and was patient with it. Made sure to put the screws in places where they wouldn't disappear or fall into the carpet and really just focused on doing it right.

The repair went perfectly. I am completely satisfied with how it went.

My Advice

Take your time, be patient. Do it in an area with good lighting and make sure you keep your screws somewhere safe.
