Successful Airport/Bluetooth Board repair!

My Problem

I was having sporadic problems with my WIFI connection. I switched to a hard wired ethernet connection and it worked fine, between that and Google research I figured it was the board. Google & YouTube led me to iFixit.

My Fix

iFixit has EXCELLENT step-by-step instructions with photos. This was the first time I've opened this computer, but judging from the instructions, it was something I could handle.

It was!

I slipped up when I forgot to plug in one cable during the reassembly, but seeing an extra part on my work space, I realized and corrected that quickly.

My Advice

Once you've completed the disassemble, carefully work back with install instructions, maybe checking each step off. I didn't at first and that's why I forgot to plug in one cable.
