I noticed that the WiFi reception on my iPhone 4 suddenly decreased without any possible cause. I spent some time changing settings on my router at home without success and noticed that my other devices in the home would have excellent connections while my phone had almost none.
The repair was simple and straight forward. It was very easy (and cheap) to get the directions I needed and pick out the parts & tools necessary. I especially appreciate that iFixIt made clear how the 7 screws needing to be removed were of 5 different sizes. The repair took 10 minutes and I now have regained the WiFi experience that I expect with the phone.
Make sure that your read the instructions all the way through before you purchase any parts and also read it through before you start the repair. It will make things much easier.

Power and Lock button would not work. Doesn't depress.
Very difficult to take all of these small components apart and keep up with the tiny screws. The step by step guide was very helpful though and took me thru the process. After all this though, the new button did not help at all. The problem must be with the plastic piece along the top of the phone (on the inside) that this button actually presses against. I did get the phone all back together and it actually works (i had my doubts) but I still have the same issue.
The $25 toolkit was not very good. The plastic piece for lifting up the cables and wires was very helpful but you can get those for 99 cents by themselves. The kit did not contain a bit for the pentalobe screws as it said it did. The other screwdriver tips aren't very good either.

The wifi on my phone was not working properly.
The part wasnt perfectly fitted like the parts that came with the phone, even though it was a little difficult getting the wifi plate on it works great now.
If your iphones wifi isnt working properly it can be 3 things the wifi plate, which i got due to the fact that a part of the wifi plate was missing. The bottom speaker has three little metal rods at the bottom make sure all are down none sticking out. And a tiny gold pice of metal at the top side of the mother board that touches the frame, make sure it is touching the frame. Hope this helps!!

I messed up the original antenna when replacing the screen.
It went well. It took about 5 minutes but I already had the phone opened up and gutted.
Be careful when sticking the antenna to the speaker module. Also watch those metal clips when placing the antenna/speaker module back into the chassis of the phone.
