My Fix

Followed the step by step directions on this site and they are spot on. The notes on lifting connector 1 and the gold grounding are very important.

My Problem

Shattered glass, fell on its edge. I looked into just replacing the digitizer, but removing and gluing back the display appeared too much pain.

My Fix

You need lots of light and parts are very tiny. Take your time, I would recommend two hours. If you did it before, you can probably do it in half an hour.

My Problem

Wife had an old 3GS which ended up in her lunch bag along with a half full coffee travel mug. Mug leaked, phone was soaked. Bought the wife a Samsung 4G (which I now think she planned). Decided to fix the 3GS and give it to my 5 year old minus the SIM card.

My Fix
