My Problem

My iPhone used to die in a matter of a couple hours

My Fix

After I replaced the battery, this little guy runs for days at a time.

My Advice

My advice is to somehow remember which screw goes where, because I missed up on that part and I have a couple of screws not in their original place. And fyi, the screw sizes differ from one place to the other, so keep good track of them.

My Problem

iPhone shared but, returned destroyed… It come back entirely striped and dug by shock. And fissured screen.

My Fix

I entirely dismounted it and reassembled, without any problem.

My Advice

The problem is solved, it acted as you said, it was a simple problem of connection.

My Problem

Bought a 3G cheap off CL. Rear case assembly was cracked.

Fixed it.

My Fix

Tenuous at first, but once I started it was better.

My Advice

Use a mat or sheet of paper to map out which screws go where.

My Problem

The old rear case was starting to break up, cracks have appeared around the headphone jack and in the centre of the dock connector,

My Fix

The replacement went ok, wasn't as easy as I thought it would be as the replacement case had a few faults such as a screw hole for the Mute switch and a screw hole for the on/off button were filled with the glue that is used to attach the front metal bezel to the rear plastic case. Also no thread on one of the vibrator mount screws. If your not a handyman then maybe you shouldn't attempt it. Glue was removed from the holes with a red hot pin.

My Advice

Be prepared to do some modifications, you need to transfer the 2 locating pins for the logic board from the old case to the new.

Make sure all the metal tabs and holes are in the right place, all must line up before tightening the screws, this includes heights and depth.

My Problem

Rear panel was twisted

My Fix

Everything perfect, phone works except for the wifi and the gps. I think there is a connector not correctly fixed.

My Advice

The screws of the iphone are so tiny, that it is best to use a magnifying glass
