My Problem

2011 battery had been through 1000 charging cycles and lasted only 2 to 3 hours .

My Fix

The right tools and correct battery made this replacement a piece of cake. Total time to repair - 10 minutes.

At the Apple Store the price is about the same but the repair can take about 5 days according to Apple.

My Advice

Use IFIXIT and just do it yourself.

My Problem

Battery had 680 cycles, very short endurance

My Fix

Very easy repair all good now .I was very happy with the Ifixit evperience

My Advice

repair was well worth the money

My Problem

My old Macbook Air was down to holding about 30-45 minutes of battery on a good day, shutting down as soon as it got anywhere below 30%.

My Fix

It was very easy to change the battery. The screws come out and go back in easily enough, and they're different enough for it not to be confusing. The battery just slides in place. All in all, it was all very quick and easy - probably took about 10-15 minutes total, as I was reading the guide as I was going along.

My Advice

The Mac now hold around 4 hours of battery - not as good as when I got it, but a trillion times better than before. Very much worth the investment!

My Problem

battery would not last and worse: it would die at random no matter what percentage the battery said.

My Fix

the repair was super easy as i followed the ifixit guide!

My Advice

the magnets on the screwdrivers helped a lot since the screws are tiny plus i used a small black cloth to place them on so i don't lose them

My Problem

The battery was worn out and the charge only lasted about 20 minutes.

My Fix

The repair went surprising well and quick, under 10 minutes, thanks to the information on your IFIXIT website.

My Advice

My additional suggestion is to make sure you maintain the proper placement of those Tiny screws and keep from dropping them.

My Problem

Laptop battery was holding the charge for about one hour , new battery holds the charge for about 8 hrs.

I was always plugged to the wall and i believe thats why my laptop charger went dead.

My Fix

it took about 5 minutes to replace the battery and another 5 to vacuum the battery bay.

overall about 20 min for backup and cleaning laptop.

My Advice

backup laptop and be ready with a vacuum cleaner and small brushes to get all the dust, clean laptop over all.

My Problem

Battery had about 540 cycle counts on it, and suddenly couldn't hold a charge for more than 40 minutes or so.

My Fix

Ridiculously easy. Printed out the guide. Followed the steps. I recommend having some canned air to clear out any dust etc. Wiped down the bottom panel with a rag so that probably added to the repair time.

My Advice

This is one of the easiest repairs you could do yourself. You've got nothing to worry about

My Problem

Ran outta space on my old SSD, so bought a bigger one on ebay and upgraded it using the tools provided by iFixit.

My Fix

Went without a hitch thanks to the great guide.

My Advice

Take it slow. Once you've disconnected the battery plug slide a thin piece of card between it and the logic board to avoid shorting anything. Saves you have to mess around with holding it back.

My Problem

SSD problems since one month, fixed by Disk warrior but coming back each 3 day… Low disk, errors, files corrupted

My Fix

Fine, easy.

My Advice

Have daily a clone of your ssd is to be wise

My Problem

la batería de mi MacBook Air 2011 está a punto de morir

My Fix

With the tools that come to been easier surprising how easy it has been the tutorials are wonderful to make it easier highly recommended however the price to Spain have grown much product customs duties have been too high.

My Advice

fundamental las herramientas que se venden en el kit para que todo sea de sencillo y bien colocado
