My Problem

Water damage on a macbook pro.

There was a dime sized bit of corrosion on the logic board and it would not turn on.

My Fix

Pulled the back off, unhooked the battery, stogged the corroded bits with a really soft brush and alcohol. Let it dry, put it back together and it turned back on.

Bass from speakers just come out as muddled.

Removed without much trouble.

My Advice

The original screws securing the sub-woofer strips quit easily. Pay attention when removing them. I had to discard one screw I stripped. Luckily I could remove them by forcing the screwdriver into the screw to create new indent . . .

My Problem

Just needed some more tools for opening Apple Mac's, Getting out laptop screws that have had there heads destroyed and the magnetic project mat for the laptop screws.
