My Problem

Battery life was becoming too short. The batteries exhausted after only 1,5 movies on the plane..

In the beginning my MAC could do a full day's work on a charge.

Hope to return to these good numbers again.

My Problem

My original battery would show a charge to 100% but then would fail within 1-2 minutes of being unplugged, causing the laptop to shutdown. This of course defeats the purpose of a laptop!

My Problem

No charge in battery -- didn't even recognize a battery present. The MacBook Air was 4 years old, so I assumed that the battery would be close to end of life even if the cause was not the battery, so a replacement would be needed anyway.

My Fix

Easy as 1-2-3. A few screws and that's it.
