My Problem

My daughter's laptop LCD display got broke because my other daughter decided to through the remote and hit and broke the screen.

My Fix

The repair went without a hitch. I took it nice and slow. The only problem I had was with the spudger and using it to separate the pieces.

My Problem

Left laptop in cold car and screen went bad. Tried to just replace inverter thing, but that wasn't it. Had to do the big LCD replacement.

SMOOOOOOTH! ifixit is great! Got the part(s), the tools and clear, well-written, well-depicted directions and fixed my Macbook. It was weirdly fun and gratify . . .

My Problem

My daughter accidentally crushed an LCD dead zone into her 15" Macbook Pro. Oopsy.

My Fix

Swimmingly, except for a couple of wobbly bits. Specifically, one corner anchor of the screen bezel refused to screw down and the camera cable didn't reattach properly.
