This version of the MacBook Pro 15" includes a logic board processor speed increase.
The MacBook Pro 15" Model A1260 laptop can easily be upgraded to a total of 6 GB of memory using a 4 GB RAM chip and a 2 GB RAM chip. Don't let all that RAM go to waste on a slow hard drive. The 500 GB 7200 RPM SATA hard drive or the 640 GB hard drive will give you plenty of storage. You can even upgrade to a 80 GB SSD hard drive.
